Our Team
Daniel Gorman Principal Surveyor, has been a marine surveyor for over a decade. He is a graduate of California Maritime Academy, with a degree in Marine Engineering and a US Coast Guard 3rd Engineers Unlimited license. After graduating from the Maritime Academy, Daniel worked out at sea on commercial ships under his license.
Rick Gorman Senior marine surveyor of Pacific Marine Surveyors has performed over 2,000 marine surveys and damage investigations from Santa Barbara to San Diego. His renowned knowledge and experience in the field has led to him being a leader in the surveying industry. He also has many years of practical experience owning boats, maintaining them, and sailing both offshore and coastwise.

Evan Wanamaker joined the team in 2020 as a NAMS Apprentice after working in the commercial shipping industry for 10 years. He graduated from the California Maritime Academy as a Marine transportation Major and holds a 1600 Ton Masters license.

Cameron Newett is a seasoned maritime project manager, specializing in complex vessel operations and regulatory compliance. He holds a USCG 200 Ton Master upon Oceans License and brings over 13 years of experience managing shipyard operations, drydock projects, and vessel surveys across commercial and government sectors.
Services
We follow ABYC, NFPA, USCG and the Code of Federal Regulations guidelines when inspecting any vessel. A written report, list of recommendations, fair market value, and photographs are furnished to the client within three (3) business days.
